Material Handler, Forklift Operator
Your Opportunity as an IB-OB Distribution Lead
Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a team environment. Must be able to follow instructions (written & verbal), safely and accurately complete assigned duties and maintain all company standards. Responsibilities include loading and unloading trucks, receiving materials and products, and picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products using forklift and pallet jack. Maintain receiving/shipping logs and ensure incoming and outgoing products and material are in good condition.
Move materials to the production area using the FEFO standard. Assist the distribution supervisor in ensuring labor is on task, and all quality standards are met. Also, the worker maintains the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the warehouse. Workers are required to lift to 50 pounds, walk or stand for most of the shift.

Work Arrangements: 100% on-site
Reports To: Distribution Supervisor
Pay: $25.22
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Must be able to operate a Forklift in a safe manner.
- Loading and unloading of product.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Utilize Blue Yonder systems as instructed to ensure proper movement of product in FEFO order.
- Demonstrate and promote a solution based positive attitude in meeting goals and objectives.
- Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained with an eye for detail.
- Promote and ensure a safe work environment.
- Self-starter;
Ability to make sound decisions. - Deliver quality products and services through continuous improvement;
Adhere to company standards and operating procedures. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems when making decisions.
- Ability to communicate both professionally and effectively with subordinates as well as all levels of management and cross-functional teams.
- Must pass forklift written test and driver test that is given by the company.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing warehouse and/or distribution environment.
Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role:
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment and follow all company safety Rules & Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
The employee must have the ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects using arms, back, abdominal muscles, shoulders, legs, or a combination of these muscle groups to a maximum of 50 pounds.

Machines/Tools UsedForklifts, electric and manual floor jacks, computer systems, and other department specific tools. All tools and equipment which are required to be used by the employees shall be supplied and kept under repair by the Employer at no cost to the employee. These items must be kept on the premises. Also includes manual floor jacks, computer systems, and other department specific tools.
