Flexographic Pressroom Support Technician
Schedule:
Weekends — Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00am–6:30pmAt Tabco, an Inovar Packaging Group, LLC company, your weekend starts on press. You arrive before dawn, step into a modern flexographic facility, and help set the stage for flawless print runs. From mounting photopolymer plates to mixing precise ink formulas, you’re the teammate who keeps the pressroom moving and on-spec.
What your day looks like
You’ll begin by reviewing upcoming orders and mounting printing plates, then pulling and filing plate files so every job is ready when the presses are. You’ll mix inks to exact specifications, pull dies for scheduled work (and put them back when complete), and wash ink trays, splash guards, and overflow pans so the next setup is clean and efficient.
Throughout the shift you’ll organize press areas, empty production and stockroom trash, and maintain consumables with a monthly inventory. You’ll assist press operations with sheeted jobs, major cleanups, and press setups, move product to finishing, and clean aniloxes using the anilox cleaning machine. You’ll also complete daily time sheets, follow all SOPs and GMPs, and step in to back up press operators when needed.
Safety and standards matter here—you’ll adhere to company policies and safety regulations, and be ready for overtime when production demands it. And yes, there will be other duties as assigned—that’s part of working on a collaborative pressroom team.
