Perform responsibilities necessary to generate and update all production planning.

• Generate all production planning documentation per customer specifications, engineering documents, and models.
• Generate manufacturing planning for rework work orders when needed.
• Maintain manufacturing planning to remain current and updated.
• Generate, submit, and track engineering questions to customers.
• Coordinate customer responses with appropriate departments.
• Validate outside vendors are approved to customer specifications.
• Maintain part configuration by reviewing customer change notices, revision changes, and PO changes.
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) from customer engineering requirements.
• Review customer specifications and engineering requirements to ensure all processes and procedures are being met.

• High School Education or GED;
  Associate degree preferred but not required.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, MRP/ERP system, CATIA/MASTERCAM or similar engineering software.
• Experience in CNC machining and quality inspection techniques.
• Comprehension of customer specifications and blueprints.
• Understanding of CNC machine capabilities.
• Must be self‑motivated, organized, willing to learn and ready to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Effective use of a computer keyboard, telephone, and other applicable electronic communication equipment; view and read documents and computer monitors; view machines and other operations as part of the manufacturing process; verbal communication with department managers and plant personnel. Position will generally require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Lift and carry a minimum of 10lbs. Occasional requirements may include standing for prolonged periods, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, and lifting and carrying a minimum of 25lbs.
