PositionSummary
Perform responsibilities necessary to generate and update all production planning.
Position Responsibilities- Generate all production planning documentation per customer specifications, engineering documents, and models.
- Generate manufacturing planning for rework work orders when needed.
- Maintain manufacturing planning to remain current and updated.
- Generate, submit, and track engineering questions to customers.
- Coordinate customer responses with appropriate departments.
- Validate outside vendors are approved to customer specifications.
- Maintain part configuration by reviewing customer change notices, revision changes, and PO changes.
- Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) from customer engineering requirements.
- Review customer specifications and engineering requirements to ensure all processes and procedures are being met.
- High School Education or GED;
Associate degree preferred but not required. - Good written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, MRP/ERP system, CATIA/MASTERCAM or similar engineering software.
- Experience in CNC machining and quality inspection techniques.
- Comprehension of customer specifications and blueprints.
- Understanding of CNC machine capabilities.
- Must be self‑motivated, organized, willing to learn and ready to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Physical Requirements
Effective use of a computer keyboard, telephone, and other applicable electronic communication equipment; view and read documents and computer monitors; view machines and other operations as part of the manufacturing process; verbal communication with department managers and plant personnel. Position will generally require sitting for prolonged periods of time. Lift and carry a minimum of 10lbs. Occasional requirements may include standing for prolonged periods, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, and lifting and carrying a minimum of 25lbs.
