Material Handler – 1st Shift

Location:

Hesston, KS

Shift: 6:30am – 2:30pm
Starting pay: $18.21 per hour

• Operate forklift (approx. 60% of shift)
• Stock and deliver parts by hand (approx. 60%)
• Count parts (approx. 60%)
• Drive truck (approx. 60%)
• Crush cardboard (approx. 60%)
• Drive yard truck (approx. 60%)
• Handle parts by hand to stock and move parts (approx. 20%)
• Scan and update parts in Freedom (approx. 10%)
• Attend meetings and collaborate with OpEx Lead on part handling and related tasks (approx. 10%)
• Focus on safety, quality, and meeting specific objectives

• Ability to follow supervisor or OpEx Lead instructions and material handling procedures
• Lift truck operator permit
• Familiarity with part names, numbers, and inventory control
• Experience with computer entry and material management
• Strong attention to quality and continuous improvement mindset
• Open to learning new processes and technologies
