Calibration Technician

As a Calibration Technician, you will be part of the maintenance and engineering team to deliver high‑quality calibration services within a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) facility.

• Perform routine calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of instruments and control systems (e.g., bioreactors, sterilizers, filling equipment) to ensure operational accuracy and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate calibration schedules with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and Elanco’s corporate calibration programs.
• Maintain meticulous calibration records and documentation in strict accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality Assurance guidelines.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements, support new machinery installations, and serve as a key administrator for the Building Management System (BMS).
• Adhere to all occupational safety and health programs, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), confined space, and fall protection, while operating equipment such as forklifts and personnel lifts.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in calibration or instrumentation within a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities, with capacity to prioritize responsibilities and multi‑task in a fast‑paced team environment.

• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or a highly regulated industry with a focus on GMP manufacturing maintenance and documentation.
• Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, programming, and wiring.
• Previous industrial plant safety training and experience utilizing a CMMS.
• Technical expertise in supporting specialized equipment such as tanks, mixers, pumps, and solids processing machinery.
• Autonomous self‑starter with a proven track record of working effectively within a collaborative team.
