2nd Shift Dough Mixer

Location

Located in Moundridge, KS (not Wichita, KS)

2nd Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm, 10 days on, 4 days off

$17.50 per hour

• Accurately scale the correct raw materials for each mix according to the work orders
• Follow the formula perfectly; there is zero margin of error
• Know when dough is optimally mixed
• Look for a thin membrane that maintains some elasticity yet is soft and pliable without being sticky and runny
• Know how to operate the mixer components
• Includes bulk scaling materials—water & flour
• Basic operations of the mixer
• Learn the appropriate ratio of water to ice for varying weather conditions to achieve the target temperature
• Record all lot numbers on all raw materials for every batch on work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including floor, utensils, tables and equipment
• Accurately fill out the proper paperwork when required, including the inventory control form
• Work at a pace to always keep the divider full of dough; there should be no gaps in production
• Record any mistakes on work orders, noting any trashed dough, added materials, etc.
• Assist the machine operator as needed
• Report any dough issues to the supervisor immediately
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Keep the work area and production line clean at all times, never having product on the floor
• Be responsible for meeting company goals such as efficiency, yield and fill rates
• Ensure adherence to company safety practices and policies
• Report any food safety and/or quality concerns to the supervisor, QA or a member of management

• Work at a pace to keep up with production so the line doesn’t fall behind
• Stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Lift 10–80 pounds regularly
