3rd shift Manufacturing Automation Technician

Job Overview

Automation Technician, 3rd Shift (10:30pm–6:30am) in Hesston, KS. Hourly rate starts at $22.36 plus a $2 shift differential.

• Program new weld jobs on robotic weld cells (~10% of time).
• Make program adjustments to automated fabrication equipment (~15%).
• Develop maintenance programs and perform or oversee preventive maintenance schedules (~15%).
• Troubleshoot problems with programs and equipment, working closely with maintenance and equipment vendors (~15%).
• Monitor for corrective action to reduce downtime impacts (~10%).
• Perform data‑driven projects and other duties as directed by supervisor; may include project management (~15%).
• Monitor machine efficiencies on a weekly basis (~10%).
• Nest jobs for lasers and program press brakes.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, including weld callouts and quality standards.
