Location and Pay

McPherson, Kansas – Day shift: $20.36/hr (6:45 am–7 pm). Night shift: $22.39/hr (6:45 pm–7 am).

As an Extrusion PVC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery used in the extrusion process to produce high‑quality PVC pipes. The role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently during 12‑hour shifts. Candidates should have some experience with micrometers/calipers and at least one year of recent industrial experience. The position involves frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, so physical strength and stamina are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Operate extrusion machinery to ensure the production of PVC pipes meets quality standards.
  • Regularly monitor the extrusion process and make necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications and quality.
  • Conduct visual inspections of the PVC pipes to identify and address any defects or irregularities.
  • Handle and load raw materials into the extrusion machine, ensuring a continuous and smooth production flow.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the machinery, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions to the maintenance team.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, output quantities, and any adjustments made during the shift.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Working Conditions
