CNC Attendant

CNC Attendant: produce quality parts as quickly and efficiently as possible.

• Loading and unloading machines to produce parts that represent the output of the machine shop.
• Remove unwanted pieces with necessary hand tools and move parts to the deburring station to promote the flow of parts and overall shop efficiency.
• Ensure efficiency to produce parts to support the work cell setter and participate in decisions related to day-to-day work as appropriate.
• Adhere to guidelines and obtain authorization from supervision for any deviations.
• Keep the work area clean to support 5S objectives.
• Read blueprints and understand the assembly process.
• Measure and inspect parts as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous machining experience is preferred.
• Must possess basic computer knowledge.
• Technical aptitude and understanding of mechanical principles.
• Ability to communicate openly in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail, with organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates must be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks daily.

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment where the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe footwear, is required. Employees are expected to follow all company environmental, health, and safety policies.

• Stand or sit for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Perform repetitive hand and wrist movements using hand tools.
• Lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and twist.
• Ability to distinguish small defects and read measuring instruments accurately.
• Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise, oils, coolants, and metal particles while wearing required PPE.
