Location

Alma, KS

Shift

2nd Shift (Monday–Friday, 2PM-10:30PM);
Must be available to cover 3rd shift (10PM-6AM) for scheduled leaves; extended hours and weekends may be required)

Responsibilities
  • Complete daily weight/product checks, label verifications, scale calibrations, and Oven/Chiller calibrations
  • Complete additional job duties as assigned by the FSQ (Food Safety Quality) Lead or Manager
  • Following proper procedures, attention to detail, and accuracy of paperwork
  • Foster an engaged, team-oriented workforce to improve business results.
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary
  • Must be available to cover 3rd shift for scheduled leaves.
Qualifications

Required:

  • The ability to read and write to accurately complete job related paperwork Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Perform repetitive hand & wrist motion throughout a shift.
  • Lift/push/pull 50+lbs as required (Occasional)
  • Twist and bend the body as necessary to perform job related tasks.
  • Kneel/squat as necessary to complete job-related tasks.
  • Grasping & pinching motions to complete job-related tasks
  • Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred
  • Food/Meat manufacturing experience
Training
  • On the Job training provided
Work Environment
  • Position requires working in temperatures below 40°F.
  • Standing/walking on concrete for a majority of the work day
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay: $22.40 per hour, plus $1/hour shift differential for all hours worked on 2nd or 3rd shift
  • 1.5 times rate for hours worked over 40 in a week
