Pre-Assembly Team Leader
The Pre-Assembly Technician is responsible for preparing and assembling components used in the production of electrical harnesses and assemblies by accurately cutting wires to specified lengths, crimping terminals and connectors, and welding wires and components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and bills of materials, and a commitment to safety and efficiency while ensuring all pre-assembly work is completed accurately and on schedule.
The technician works closely with production teams to maintain workflow, verify product quality, manage materials, and support the timely completion of customer orders.
- Read andcomprehendinstructions and follow established procedures.
- Cutting, crimping, and welding of wire harness assemblies.
- Assemble BOMS, Kits, Pre-Assembled products as well as closing BOMs.
- Report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts to the supervisor.
- Quality checks all harnesses before shipping them to the customer.
- Ability to work on repetitive tasks for long periods of time.
- Work with your team to resolve production issues.
- Work with Pre-Assembly Team Leader for scheduling.

Being a member of the SurePoint Ag Systems TeamIn addition to the specific duties detailed above, you are expected to provide support and assistance in achieving the overall goals and objectives of SurePoint Ag Systems through collaboration, teamwork and communication.
Qualifications and Education RequirementsA high school diploma (GED) is preferred.
Requirements and Skills- Ability in using tools (e.g., hand tools) and soldering tools

This job does not require any supervisor responsibilities.
LocationThis position will be located at SurePoint Electronics in Atwood, KS.
TrainingNo specific training program exists for this position. You will be advanced through training depending on individual skill sets. You will be expected to learn through experience and asking questions for clarification. SurePoint does emphasize employee development. Opportunities will exist to attend specialized training throughout the course of employment.
