The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and executing high-impact, sales-driven marketing strategies in a fast-moving commercial environment. This role requires an extremely organized, commercially minded professional who understands how to drive revenue through strong branding, tactical activations, and disciplined execution. The Marketing Manager must balance creativity with structure, ensuring every campaign is designed to convert, perform, and deliver measurable results while protecting and growing the Digicel brand.
This is a performance-driven position that sits at the intersection of sales, brand, data, and people management. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a high-energy, performance-driven environment, is extremely organised, understands sales mechanics and can manage people while balancing brand integrity with commercial urgency. This is a demanding role that requires resilience, structure and strong leadership.
Number of persons managed/supervised and their positions- 2/3 Marketing Executives
- Owns the delivery of marketing campaigns in a high-pressure, fast-paced commercial environment where timelines are tight and execution must be precise.
- Develops and executes integrated marketing campaigns that are directly linked to sales growth, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue performance.
- Works closely with Sales, Commercial, Distribution and Product teams to translate commercial targets into actionable marketing plans and activations.
- Ensures all campaigns are performance-driven with clear sales KPIs, ROI targets, and conversion metrics, not just awareness metrics.
- Optimises marketing budget allocation to maximize commercial return, efficiency, and speed to market.
- Plans and manages high-volume marketing activations including retail & outdoor promotions, handset promotions and branding initiatives
- Leads the execution of marketing in live trading environments, ensuring marketing is responsive to stock levels, promotions, competitor activity and sales demand.
- Creates structure in chaos: builds timelines, trackers, dashboards and reporting systems to manage multiple campaigns running simultaneously.
- Ensures all marketing activities are measured, tracked, and reported with commercial impact clearly visible.
- Manages and develops a team of Marketing Executives, setting clear priorities, deadlines, accountability, and performance expectations.
- Brings strong people-management discipline, ensuring team members are organised, proactive, and execution-focused.
- Works with the creative team to deliver materials quickly, accurately and aligned with both brand and commercial objectives.
- Manages market-level advertising, PR, sponsor ships and brand campaigns while ensuring they support business growth and sales performance.
- Represents the brand externally while maintaining strong internal commercial alignment.
- Supports the GTM Manager in driving structured, results-focused execution across all consumer and business initiatives.
- BSc/BA in Business, Marketing and or a related field
- 5 years’ experience in marketing planning with evidence of delivering effective marketing strategies and programmes across complex marketing organisations.
- Strong commercial and sales mindset with the ability to translate marketing into revenue performance.
