The Candidate

We are an Elder led church that seeks a senior pastor whose faith/values/ beliefs align with our statement of faith. We desire a senior pastor who continually seeks God’s wisdom and guidance and will root his message in God’s word using sound doctrine to encourage and shepherd the church body. We expect him to teach and challenge us to grow in our faith and daily walk with Christ.

He should communicate meaningful insight from scripture in an applicable and relevant manner for today’s world. The pastor should have the ability to connect with the seeker as well as the mature believer. He should have a desire to connect with the community and reach out to the unchurched. A blend of various preaching and teaching styles to fulfill the needs of a diverse congregation is preferred.

The Compensation

$45,000 – $60,000 (salary and benefits) dependent upon experience plus use of a 3-BR parsonage (pastor pays for utilities).

The Big Picture

Flint Hills Community Church () is seeking a Senior Pastor.

The Church

To tell you a little about us, we are an evangelical, non‑denominational community church. Our church is about 40 years old with a multi‑generational congregation of about 100 people. Our church is located in a rural setting in the beautiful, scenic Flint Hills of Kansas between Wichita and Topeka. We have a Bible‑based worship service with a mix of traditional hymns and praise music, Sunday School options for all ages, and various Bible studies.

We place a strong emphasis on our children and youth ministries and have a desire for community outreach.

The mission of FHCC is to be a loving, worshipping, grace‑filled congregation of disciples, maturing Christ followers who are committed to compassionately spreading the gospel, both locally and globally, for the glory of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
