Almena Bible Church is a small community church founded in the late 1800s, now an independent Church serving a local population of 363 and surrounding rural area. The church is located 12 miles from Norton, the County seat, and is dedicated to deepening believers’ relationship with God.

Seeking a doctrinally sound Pastor for a regrowing church family, responsible for spiritual leadership, teaching, worship, evangelism, and community outreach.

• Born‑again believer in Jesus Christ with beliefs centered on God’s Holy Word.
• Holds to the standards required in 1 Timothy 3:1‑2 and Titus 1:6‑9.
• Committed to the terms of salvation outlined in Matthew 28:19‑20, Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9, Matthew 16:16.
• Able to administer The Lord’s Supper, marriages, funerals, baby dedications, etc.
• Two‑three years of senior or lead pastoral experience preferred; new graduates considered.
• Four‑year degree from an accredited Bible college or seminary preferred; two‑three year degrees considered.
• Clean driving record and willingness to complete a Criminal Background Check.

• Oversee and mentor leadership within the church family.
• Represent the church in community outreach activities and charitable events.
• Organize weekly services and deliver biblically based messages.
• Communicate with congregation members and provide pastoral care, including to nursing home residents.
• Maintain the church’s social media presence.
• Provide spiritual support and oversight of all youth ministry endeavors.
• Maintain consistent office hours.

• Negotiable compensation.
• Two weeks, yearly, paid time off (PTO).
• Time off for the fifth weekend in a given month.
• Housing allowance or parsonage.
