The Church

Flint Hills Community Church () is an evangelical, non‑denominational community church located in the scenic Flint Hills of Kansas between Wichita and Topeka. With a multi‑generational congregation of about 100 people, we offer a Bible‑based worship service that blends traditional hymns and praise music, Sunday School for all ages, and various Bible studies. We place a strong emphasis on children and youth ministries and have a desire for community outreach.

The mission of FHCC is to be a loving, worshipping, grace‑filled congregation of disciples, maturing Christ followers who are committed to compassionately spreading the gospel, locally and globally, for the glory of God.

We seek a senior pastor whose faith, values and beliefs align with our statement of faith. The pastor will teach and challenge the congregation to grow in faith and daily walk with Christ. The role requires preaching and teaching with sound doctrine, using the Word of God to encourage and shepherd the church body. The pastor must communicate biblical insights in an applicable and relevant manner for today’s world, connect with seekers and mature believers, and be committed to outreach and community engagement.

A blend of preaching and teaching styles to meet the diverse congregation’s needs is preferred.

Salary range: $45,000 – $60,000 (salary and benefits), depending on experience. Housing: use of a 3‑BR parsonage with the pastor responsible for utilities.
