Citizens Health is a community based, private, not-for-profit organization providing compassionate, evidence‑based care to residents of northwest Kansas. Our organization includes a 25‑bed critical access hospital, an outpatient rural health clinic, a skilled nursing facility, an onsite childcare center, a durable medical equipment business, and an outpatient pharmacy.

100 E College Drive, Colby, KS

Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 7:30 am‑5:30 pm with occasional Saturdays 8:00 am‑noon. Pay range: dependent on experience.

• Assist medical providers by providing patient care under physician supervision.
• Perform telephone triage using established practice guidelines.
• Review patient medication history, obtain vital signs, enter orders in the computer as instructed by the physician, maintain patient flow, work with ancillary services for continuity of care, assist with procedures, order supplies, check out dates, and perform various tests.
• Process paper orders to the appropriate departments and prepare prior to clinic days.

• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• At least one year of experience in a medical environment.
• Experience with EMR (electronic medical records) preferred.

Works in a well‑lit, well‑ventilated clinic with direct contact with blood or other body fluids that may apply the Body Substance Isolation. The environment is safe but requires adherence to infection‑control protocols.
