Neodesha Care and Rehab in Neodesha, KS is looking to hire a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. ADAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you play a vital role in our community. You provide total care for our residents, including washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care and catheter care. You perform care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card. You visit with residents and reposition as required. With a close eye for detail, you record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight, and conduct range of motion as needed.
You observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior, maintain confidentiality, and comply with HIPAA requirements and facility policies.
- Completed a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Current Kansas registration to practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
- Desire to work with the elderly.
Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.
WORK SCHEDULEThis full-time health care position works 12-hour shifts.
