Diversicare - - Responsibilities:
Administer PRN medications after authorization by licensed nurse or physician;
Pour, pass, and document all routine prescribed medications and give PRN medications only upon instruction of licensed nurse;
Document PRNs according to State Standards in all areas of the chart;
Observe and report reactions and side effects of medications to the licensed nurse;
Take and record vital signs prior to administration of medications which could affect vital signs
