Position: Regional RN - Premium Pay $42/hr.
Location: Larned

Competitive hourly pay: $42/hr for 60 days. Day shift available. Full‑time conversion bonus and benefits after 60 days.

Responsibilities
  • Receive report on patient/resident status from previous shift and communicate to oncoming shift.
  • Make physical rounds in assigned area, assess quality of care, intervene with provision of care, and interact with caregivers and patients/residents.
  • Provide direct care in line with nursing responsibilities, assess conditions, communicate with attending physicians/practitioners and carry out nursing functions per patient needs.
  • Assist in establishing a plan of care for patients based on unique needs and in line with physician orders.
  • Be a member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team.
  • Accurately document patient/resident condition including assessments, communications, and care provided.
  • May directly provide or supervise other providers of care such as medication pass, nursing care, documentation, treatments, and supervision.
  • Evaluate performance of nurses, nursing assistants and trained medication aides; coach and discipline as needed.
  • Assess and monitor to verify patient/residents’ needs are met and policies and procedures are followed.
  • Respond and coordinate actions in emergency situations.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing Services.
  • Assist with Continuous Quality Improvement Program initiatives.
  • Ensure safe work practices are followed.
  • Provide empathetic communication to families, patients/residents regarding change of condition and respond to care concerns; ensure resident rights are respected.
  • Must be able to travel to any center within the region/company.
  • Must be available to work overtime up to double shifts.
  • Qualifications
    • Current State Board of Nursing RN license.
    • Ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
    • Ability to perform a variety of duties with frequent change; work schedule will change daily.
    • Work intimately with residents, physicians, and staff.
    • Experience in long‑term care setting preferred.
    • Capable of working to prescribed nursing standards.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills; interest in performing a service.
