Director of Nursing

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and clinical oversight of nursing services within our skilled long‑term care facility. This role works closely with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to create a safe, supportive, and resident‑centered environment.

• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Promote a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence in resident care.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee clinical programs, quality assurance initiatives, and infection prevention efforts.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, recruitment, and employee development.
• Monitor resident outcomes and implement strategies for continuous quality improvement.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Support residents and families through effective communication and compassionate service.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Previous leadership experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or post‑acute care.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and survey readiness.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and team‑building skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to resident‑centered care and staff development.
• Director of Nursing experience preferred.
