Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift
Location: Edwardsville

Kaw River Care and Rehab in Edwardsville, KS is looking to hire a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team with a $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Weekend Warriors:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday day shift 6 a.m. – 6 p.m.

This rehabilitation nursing position offers a competitive salary up to $38.9/hr and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability, a flexible spending account (FSA), a 401(k) plan, paid time off (PTO), life insurance, continuing education unit (CEU) reimbursement, and daily pay options.

A Day in the Life of a Registered Nurse (RN)

As a Registered Nurse, you play a vital role in our clinic. You provide total care for residents, starting with monitoring their condition and needs. You follow physician orders to administer medications and treatments, ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed, monitor for side effects, and report any changes in residents’ conditions. You also oversee the nursing assistant‑registered (NAR) staff to ensure care plans are followed.

With a close eye for detail, you complete documentation and handle admission and discharge of residents. You report bruises, skin tears, or neglect and uphold confidentiality and HIPAA requirements while following facility policies. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.

Qualifications for a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • RN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
  • Desire to work with the elderly

Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required. You should be trustworthy, respectful, dependable, professional, a team player, enjoy serving and caring for seniors, and able to establish a good rapport with others and communicate effectively.

Work Schedule

This full‑time health care position works 12‑hour night shifts.
