This Cardiac Telemetry Med‑Surg RN position is located in Wichita, KS. at a 523‑bed acute care hospital that holds Joint Commission accreditation, Comprehensive Stroke Center certification, and an Accredited Chest Pain Center designation from the American College of Cardiology. The hospital also carries Blue Distinction Center designations for Spine Surgery and Bariatric Surgery and offers a full range of cardiovascular, oncology, orthopedic, and neuroscience services.

Working within a collaborative care team alongside medical providers, you will conduct thorough patient assessments at admission and each shift, promptly identifying and communicating changes in patient status. You will carry out provider‑ordered procedures and monitoring, maintaining accurate and timely documentation in the medical record throughout. Medication administration is a core responsibility — you will evaluate therapeutic responses and act decisively when an unintended reaction occurs.
You will also serve as the primary educator for patients, families, and caregivers, translating complex medical information about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and follow‑up care into clear, understandable terms.
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 2 years)
- Active Florida RN license or approved multistate RN license required; compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
