Registered Nurse; RN

Wakefield Care and Rehab in Wakefield, KS is hiring 2 full‑time Registered Nurses (RN) for day shift or night shift positions.

As an RN, you provide total care for residents: monitoring their condition, administering medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring narcotic policies are followed, monitoring for side effects, reporting any changes, and overseeing nursing assistant‑registered (NAR) staff to ensure care plans are followed. You complete documentation, admit and discharge residents, and report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect. You maintain confidentiality, comply with HIPAA, and uphold facility policies and procedures.

• RN licensure with the KS Board of Nursing
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
• Desire to work with the elderly
• Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing preferred but not required
• Dependable, professional, and a strong team player

This full‑time position works 12‑hour overnight shifts (6 pm to 6 am). One‑cent differential pay for overnight shifts.
