Responsibilities
The Psychiatric Mental Health Advance Practice Provider (APP) plays a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care as part of a multidisciplinary team including physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, and other professionals.
- Evaluates, diagnoses, monitors, and manages patients using advanced assessment skills and clinical therapeutics knowledge.
- Collaborates with supervising physicians to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Post Graduate Degree and Advanced Practice Clinician Licensure.
- Certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Strong organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in computer charting and data management.
- Ability to handle stress, make decisions under pressure, and work independently in various environments.
- Prepared for exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases.
- Medium physical activity with prolonged sitting, standing, walking, and some lifting.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions, distinguish colors, and maintain good manual dexterity.
- Work may involve confined or crowded areas and exposure to health hazards.
