Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 12-Hour Shifts The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting, providing care across both Emergency Room and Med Surg units. This role requires flexibility, as patient volume may shift between ER and inpatient care depending on daily needs.
• Minimum 1–2+ years of RN experience (ER and/or Med Surg)
• Active Kansas RN License (Required prior to start)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Certifications (Required)
• Strong knowledge of emergency and acute care nursing practices
• Ability to manage multiple patient types in a CAH setting
• Previous travel nursing experience (preferred but not required)
• Experience in critical access or rural hospitals
• Familiarity with Athena EMR system
• Strong adaptability and multitasking skills
• Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Combined ER and Med Surg coverage
• Onsite role in Goodland, KS
• Typical Staffing: 2 RNs, 1 Aide, 1 Secretary (LPN support available)
• Patient Ratio: 1:3 typical (max 5:1)
• Must be flexible to work both ER and Med Surg roles
• No mileage restrictions
• Open to first-time travelers
• No set scrub color
• COVID vaccine exemptions accepted;
Flu vaccine not required
