ER RN (Registered Nurse) – Goodland, KS

Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled ER RN for an assignment in Goodland, KS, within the Healthcare & Medical Services industry.

• Deliver high‑quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast‑paced emergency department, supporting a full range of acute and emergent presentations.
• Perform rapid triage and ongoing assessment of patients of varying ages and acuity, from minor injuries to life‑threatening emergencies.
• Initiate and manage IV access, administer medications and treatments, assist with procedures, and monitor cardiac, respiratory, and hemodynamic status using appropriate equipment and technology.
• Collaborate closely with emergency physicians and an interdisciplinary care team to implement care plans, participate in codes and trauma activations as needed, and respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record, following hospital and regulatory standards.
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality‑of‑care protocols, including consistent use of PPE and safe patient handling practices.
• Communicate clearly and calmly with patients and families during high‑stress situations, providing concise updates and education regarding treatments, tests, and discharge instructions when appropriate.
• Work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on facility needs.
