Welcome to our Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) role – overseeing high-quality, patient-centered care and unit coordination during your shift.
The CNC collaborates with management to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care, ensuring compliance with policies and a commitment to the organization’s vision.
What you will do in this role- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support facility efforts to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions.
- Assist with staff scheduling, managing all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Registered Nurse Diploma
- Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Nursing Core Course
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Cour, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- No Travel Required
- 2 years experience Required
