Position: Regional LPN - Premium pay $35/hr!

Overview

Offering Premium Pay $35/hr for 60 days and day shift availability.

Full‑time conversion bonus and great benefits after 60 days.

We are hiring a Regional LPN to provide skilled technical nursing services and supervise CNAs within assigned centers.

Responsibilities

Responsible for daily nursing operations of a specific unit/wing.

Perform nursing techniques for the comfort and well‑being of residents; check each resident daily to determine status; ensure residents reach highest attainable level of functioning.

Prepare equipment and assist physicians during rounds.

Administer prescribed medications orally or by injection; provide treatments using therapeutic equipment; ensure proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances.

Observe residents’ reactions to medication and treatment.

Observe, record, and report changes in residents’ condition to supervisor and attending physician.

Maintain residents’ medical record by way of documentation, as required by policy.

Assist in planning, supervising, and instructing CNAs; assign daily work assignments to ensure positive outcomes for residents.

Implement and maintain policies utilized.

Ensure that safe work practices are utilized.

Ensure proper infection control techniques are utilized.

Assist in the Continuous Quality Improvement Program and ensure follow‑up occurs.

Report accurately to oncoming shift Charge LPNs regarding change in resident status and follow‑up needs.

Provide input for CNA performance evaluations.

Coach, counsel and discipline CNAs as needed; ensure personnel policies are followed.

Recommend staffing, equipment and supply needs to DNS.

Responsible for capturing charges for supplies issued to residents on that unit.

Participate in care planning process and ensure the nursing component is implemented.

Ensure the rights of residents are respected; coordinate with other departments and ensure residents are taken to activities, etc.

Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Director of Nursing Services.

Must be able to travel to any center within the region/company.

Must be available to work overtime up to double shifts.

Qualifications

Has a current, unrestricted license by the State Board of Nursing, as an LPN/LVN.

Must have the ability to lead and motivate subordinates.

Ability to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change, as work schedule will change daily.

Able to work intimately with residents, physicians and staff.

Capable of working to prescribed nursing standards.

Good interpersonal and communication skills; interest in performing a service.

Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required.
