Job Summary
Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Nursing and the Chief Nursing Officer, the Emergency Room Manager provides nursing leadership for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and safety in the assigned area of responsibility.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians and other departments to coordinate the needs of patients and their families.
- Manage resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Support the mission and vision of the facility, division, and company.
- Ensure quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care utilizing performance improvement processes.
- Must hold a current RN license from the Missouri Board of Professional Registration or an active compact license.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS required upon hire.
- Certification in a specialty area preferred.
- ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course) or PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required upon hire.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ATCN (Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses) required within one year of hire.
