The Transplant Coordinator functions as a nurse in an expanded role. Coordinates all potential transplant patient evaluations, serves as liaison with the transplant team, nephrologists, consulting services, dialysis facilities, dietitians, and social workers involved with pre‑transplant patients. Coordinates and presents all pre‑operative teaching and scheduling for recipients and living donors, manages flow of patients on the UNOS waiting list with OPO, and is available on‑call for recipient/donor calls.

Travel to Wichita, KS and Springfield, MO once a month is required for this role.

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (RN) Registered Nurse

  • 3 years experience required
