Job Overview
Offering Premium Pay $42/hr. for the first 60 days, with full‑time benefits thereafter. Diversicare provides post‑acute care services at 46 skilled nursing and long‑term care centers across five states. We are seeking a Regional RN to support assigned centers within the region.

- Receive shift reports and communicate resident status to incoming shift.
- Conduct physical rounds in assigned area, assess quality of care, intervene as needed, and interact with staff and residents.
- Provide direct nursing care, assess conditions, and communicate with physicians and practitioners.
- Assist in establishing individualized plans of care in line with physician orders.
- Serve as a member of the Interdisciplinary Care Team.
- Accurately document resident condition, assessments, and care provided.
- Supervise other caregivers, including medication passes, nursing care, and documentation.
- Evaluate performance of nurses, nursing assistants, and medication aides; coach and discipline as necessary.
- Monitor resident needs and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Respond to and coordinate actions in emergency situations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services.
- Assist with Continuous Quality Improvement program initiatives.
- Ensure safe work practices are followed.
- Communicate empathetically with families, residents, and staff regarding changes in condition and care concerns.
- Travel to any center within the region as required.
- Be available to work overtime up to double shifts.
- Current RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
- Leadership and motivational skills for supervising subordinates.
- Ability to perform a variety of duties with frequent schedule changes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in a long‑term care setting preferred.
- Ability to work to prescribed nursing standards.
- Interest in providing high‑quality service to residents.
