Ellsworth County Medical Center (ECMC) is seeking a full-time Clinic Nurse (LPN or RN) to support our Rural Health Clinic providers and patients . This vital role helps deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, collaborative clinic environment . What You’ll Do Provider Support – Assist with patient assessments, administer medications, prepare for and assist during exams/procedures, and provide follow-up care instructions Patient Coordination – Prepare exam rooms, collect medical histories and vitals, and ensure smooth patient flow throughout the visit Health Education – Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and general wellness in partnership with providers Clinical Documentation – Accurately chart in the EMR ️ while maintaining compliance with standards and regulations Team Collaboration – Work alongside clinic staff, providers, and other departments to create a seamless, patient-first experience

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing required.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in acute care setting preferred.

Preferred

Skills:

Excellent skills in organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Excellent interpersonal and technical skills.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to explain diverse technical problems in easy-to-understand language.

Strong independent judgment and decision-making skills.

Must have advanced computer and Microsoft program skills, electronic medical record experience, and the ability to operate necessary nursing equipment.

Certifications/Registrations:

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse in the State of Kansas, CPR
