Opportunity for a versatile, independent RN to support a community‑centered rural facility. This dual‑modality position covers both immediate emergency admissions and routine inpatient care within a low‑stress, highly manageable census layout.
- Unit Environment: Combined ER and Med-Surg/LTC floor tracking.
- Patient Census: ER visits average 0–7 per day. Med‑Surg/LTC census runs between 4 and 10 patients total per shift.
- Shift Staffing: Always 3 clinical professionals on the floor (Minimum of 1 RN on shift, alongside a rotating mix of RNs, LPNs, or Paramedics).
- Charting System: Cerner (Prior experience is highly preferred).
- Traveler Perks: Easy logistics! The facility features an on‑site/adjacent hotel for standard lodging and a dedicated camper/trailer hook‑up directly across the street from the hospital campus. KCMH is a strictly smoke‑free campus.

Required:
Proven competency in both Emergency Room (ER) and Medical‑Surgical (MS) care environments. - Soft Skills: High reliability, strong independent assessment capabilities, and clear interview availability must be submitted upfront.
- State License: Active Kansas (KS) RN license or active multi‑state Compact license strictly in hand at the time of submission
. - Certifications Required (AHA Only):
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- Certifications Preferred:
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
