This rehabilitation nursing position offers a competitive salary starting at $20.00 up to $21.50 per hour with a $2000 sign on bonus. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you play a vital role in our community. You provide total care for our residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care, and catheter care. You perform care as defined by the resident’s plan of care/CNA assignment card and visit with residents, repositioning them as required.
With a close eye for detail, you record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight. You also conduct range of motion as needed. You observe and report any changes in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, or behavior that you notice while caring for residents. You maintain confidentiality, following HIPAA requirements and facility policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
Qualifications- Completed a state‑approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
- Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
- Desire to work with the elderly.
Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required. This role requires trustworthiness, respectfulness, dependability, professionalism, and teamwork. A desire to serve and care for seniors and the ability to communicate effectively are also essential.
Work ScheduleThese healthcare positions work 8‑hour shifts.
