• Provide direct patient care for Med Surg and, as needed, ER patients, including monitoring, assessment, and documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Triage and manage a range of Med Surg and emergency presentations; assist with codes and emergent events per established protocols.
• Collaborate with LPNs, CNAs, and ancillary staff to ensure safe care delivery, patient flow, and effective handoffs.
• Document care in the electronic medical record (Athena) and participate in discharge planning and patient education.
• Adhere to infection control, privacy, and safety policies; maintain professional standards in a small-team CAH setting.

• Active RN license in Kansas or multi‑state licensure accepted.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA) required.
• Experience:
  
  Med Surg and ER exposure; travel experience preferred but first‑time travelers considered; under 3 years’ experience may be reviewed.
• Education:
  
  RN degree; current licensure to practice.
• Ability to work in a CAH environment and float between Med Surg and ER as needed.
• Proficiency with Athena EMR or willingness to learn; strong communication and teamwork skills.
