Clinical Resource Nurse

Job Description

Anderson County Hospital in Garnett, KS is seeking a Clinical Resource Nurse for their Med/Surg and Emergency Room. As an RN on this team, you will have the opportunity to provide care to acute care and skilled rehab patients with various conditions and diagnoses. In this position, you will be trained and supported to be able to provide care, guidance, and be a resource to our team and patients.

Training and certification assistance will be provided to support your success in this role. This team uses leading technology, evidence‑based practice, and a collaborative environment to ensure our patients get the best care possible.

Full‑time nights.

• Utilize the nursing process.
• Perform patient care.
• Delegate patient care tasks.
• Supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the plan of care for a group of assigned patients.
• Consult with other members of the health‑care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate proficiency and abide by policies, rules, guidelines and procedures.
• Prioritize tasks and multi‑task in an unpredictable environment.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an Associate Degree.
• 2+ years of applicable experience.
• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Certified in Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) – Emergency Nurse Association.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor peers.
• Comfortable working in varied settings and adaptable to changing priorities.
