Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Facility
Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) needed for correctional facilities. Full‑time schedule, 12‑hour shifts, occasional weekends. Contract position with flexible shift availability.
Responsibilities- Perform health screenings and physical examinations.
- Triage, assess, and treat inmates’ chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs.
- Provide mental health care, including patient assessments and evaluations.
- Administer medications, wound care, and other interventions as directed by medical staff.
- Serve as first responder in emergency and crisis situations.
- Perform general nursing duties such as cardiac monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, and diabetic lines.
- Graduated from an accredited educational institution.
- Licensed as an RN in the state of employment, license in good standing.
