American Traveler is seeking a Charge RN for a Night Shift Emergency Department role at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring 1-2 years of charge and ER experience along with a KS or compact RN license.

• Critical access hospital with 12 staffed beds (19 total)
• Emergency Department unit serving a combined adult/pediatric, non-trauma patient population
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from
• 6-day block schedule with 8 days off
• ER patient ratio of 1:5, averaging 1-4 ER patients per night
• Rotating every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating outside of scope required
• Uses Cerner charting system
• Any scrub color permitted

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• 1-2 years of charge and ER experience required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Pending license not accepted
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• Will function in a charge nurse capacity during scheduled shifts
• Handles a broad range of ER presentations including pediatric emergencies, cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, procedural sedation, splinting, and triage
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• No RTO restrictions, though RTO must be listed at time of consideration
