Certified Medication Aide

Americare Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to support residents in our assisted and senior living community. In this role, you will safely administer medications, document accurately, observe and report resident condition changes, and support daily care needs under licensed nurse supervision. You'll build strong relationships with residents and families while promoting dignity, comfort, and independence. Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with state regulations and company policy
• Accurately document medication administration using paper or electronic records
• Observe residents for side effects or changes in condition and promptly report to nursing staff
• Assist residents with basic daily living needs while promoting dignity and independence
• Follow infection control, safety, and fall-prevention protocols in all resident care activities
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the care team to support individualized care plans
• Maintain secure storage, handling, and accountability for medications
• Support new resident admissions and transitions by reviewing medication profiles and routines
• Participate in training, in-services, and quality improvement activities
• Uphold resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality in all interactions
