What You'll Do

Provide emergency care to diverse patient populations in an ER setting
Float to Med Surg as needed, managing whatever cases come through the door
Maintain patient safety and comfort during high-pressure situations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including LPNs, CNAs, and staff secretaries
Follow protocols and ensure compliance with all safety standards
Utilize Athena EMR for documentation and patient management

What You Need

Required:

Active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Valid RN license in Kansas
At least 1 year of emergency or acute care experience (preferably travel experience)
Ability to adapt to float assignments and varied patient needs

Preferred:

Previous travel nursing experience
Flexibility and excellent communication skills

About the Assignment Join a reputable facility providing emergency and medical-surgical care. The unit features a patient ratio of typically 1:3, with a maximum of 5:1. The team includes two nurses, one aide, and one staff secretary, ensuring collaborative support for optimal patient outcomes. Athena EMR is used for documentation.
