What You'll Do
- Provide emergency care to diverse patient populations in an ER setting
- Float to Med Surg as needed, managing whatever cases come through the door
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during high-pressure situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including LPNs, CNAs, and staff secretaries
- Follow protocols and ensure compliance with all safety standards
- Utilize Athena EMR for documentation and patient management
What You Need
Required:- Active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- At least 1 year of emergency or acute care experience (preferably travel experience)
- Ability to adapt to float assignments and varied patient needs
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Flexibility and excellent communication skills
About the Assignment Join a reputable facility providing emergency and medical-surgical care. The unit features a patient ratio of typically 1:3, with a maximum of 5:1. The team includes two nurses, one aide, and one staff secretary, ensuring collaborative support for optimal patient outcomes. Athena EMR is used for documentation.
