Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (PDN) - RN/LPN - South East Kansas

One patient. Your full attention. That's the job.

Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring RNs and LPNs across South East Kansas for pediatric private duty nursing - 1:1 care, in the patient's home, where you actually have time to be the nurse you trained to be.

• You're assigned to one child or young adult per shift - no six-patient hallway, no charting sprint, no being pulled in five directions
• Several cases currently open across the region, which usually means real choice in your schedule - days, nights, or weekends
• Many of our cases involve trach, vent, or G-tube care, so if you're comfortable with complex pediatric needs, you'll be putting real skill to use here
• Pay isn't posted, but it's discussed openly at your interview and based on your experience

• Coming from a hospital floor and craving depth over volume
• A nursing student who needs hands-on hours that flex around your schedule
• Semi-retired and looking for meaningful part-time work, not a second full-time job

You’ll provide skilled, 1:1 nursing care in a family's home - managing complex needs like trach/vent support and G-tube feeding, watching closely for the small changes that matter, and becoming someone that family genuinely relies on.

• Weekday Overnights:+$2/hour
• Weekend Days:+$3/hour
• Weekend Overnights:+$4/hour

• PTO

• Active RN or LPN license
• Pediatric experience is a plus (training provided!)
• Eligible to work in the United States
