• Travel assignment in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital
• Orientation: virtual Monday session; 8-hour no-bill orientation

• Deliver direct patient care in the ER, including triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring of acuity levels.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document responses, and adjust care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and mobile support teams to stabilize patients and determine disposition (admission, transfer, discharge).
• Monitor patient status with continuous bedside assessment, interpret abnormal findings, and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Document care outcomes in the electronic health record and communicate thoroughly with the patient, family, and care team.
• Float to units within scope of practice as required and participate in unit-specific protocols and safety practices.

• Active RN license in Kansas (or eligibility to practice per state regulations)
• Certifications:
  
  BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC
• Experience:
  
  minimum 1 year of ER experience plus prior travel experience; 2 years ER experience and 1 year travel experience preferred
• Ability to perform in a high-acuity ER environment, including rapid assessment, treatment, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to work 12-hour night shifts and to participate in weekend scheduling as rotated
• Orientation: able to attend virtual orientation as scheduled
• Floating to units within scope of practice; strong communication and teamwork skills

• Orientation: 8-hour, no-bill orientation; virtual sessions available
• Pay schedule: bi-weekly pay
• Facility is nicotine-free
• Travel assignment length: 13 weeks with potential for future opportunities based on staffing needs
• Ongoing support from a dedicated account manager during the assignment
