QUALITY INSPECTOR

Salary: $15.00 to $16.00 hourly

Quality Inspector is responsible for examining materials for quality, defects, and workmanship.

• Perform both in-process and/or final inspections on wire and cable harnesses in accordance with Celltron documented quality plan and other referenced accept/reject criteria.
• Identify and recognize inspection errors and initiate resolution.
• Identify and provide disposition of nonconforming material per procedure.
• Provide traceability of product, material and calibration of products.
• Maintain required certifications: IPC J-STD-001 Solder, IPC/WHMA-A-620 Acceptability.
• Accurately record results of inspection and testing.
• Perform additional Quality department duties as assigned.
• Report directly to the Quality Engineer or Quality Manager.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with basic inspection tools (calipers, scales/rulers, microscopes, form boards, protractor).
• Basic knowledge and understanding of how to read blueprints.
• Strong knowledge of basic mathematical operations and ability to perform measurement conversions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Prior cable building experience or manufacturing experience.
• Able to manage time and attendance to meet deadlines or production goals.
• A willingness to work positively as part of a team to accomplish individual and team goals.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday with occasional overtime. 1st shift

Working Conditions: Temperature-controlled, light manufacturing environment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses or other protective gear may be required.
