NASDA Field Enumerator - Western Wyoming

Overview

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is looking to hire a detail-oriented part-time Field Enumerator to perform tasks that support our organization. Data is collected by both phone and in-person interviews from farm operators and agricultural industry representatives to help produce agricultural estimates used by producers, buyers, state and federal governments.

• Collect crop and livestock information from farm operators and agricultural industry representatives.
• Conduct data collection through phone and in-person interviews.
• Assist in generating estimates of agricultural data for use by producers, buyers, and government entities.
• Travel as needed; a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.

• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle; automobile insurance is required.
• A background check and motor vehicle record check will be conducted.
• Basic computer skills; experience with iPad or similar devices is provided by NASDA.
• Strong people skills and attention to detail.
• A background in agriculture is helpful but not required.
• Starting wage is $17.75 per hour, including training time, plus reimbursement for travel.
• Position is part-time and intermittent with flexible days and hours; training is provided.

We are looking to hire someone from Fremont and Sublette counties.
