Post Doc Lab Automation and Digitalization (m/f/d)

Within our global team Environmental Fate and Structure you work as a Post Doc for one year (with the prospect of extending to two years) to optimize the environmental profile of potential crop protection agents. In your new role, you design, implement, and manage lab automation workflows. Development and optimization of high throughput assays in the field of environmental fate of small molecules are part of your tasks.

Moreover, you get the opportunity to operate and optimize liquid handling systems. Last but not least, you play a crucial role in project planning, coordination as well as presentation and you interact with multidisciplinary teams. With access to modern AI tools and digital assistants, you help us work more efficiently and make data-driven decisions.

What You

Offer:

• PhD in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences or a related field
• Expertise in laboratory automation
• Practical experience with liquid-handling systems
• In-depth knowledge of data analysis and data management
• Hands-on experience in chromatography is desirable
• Experience with programming languages such as Python is an advantage
• Passion for optimizing laboratory processes combined with excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills in English are essential; advanced German language skills are desirable
• Digital mindset and the willingness to see AI as an opportunity to improve processes and ways of working
