Part-Time Clerk at Woody's Liquor

Woody's Liquor located in Garnett, KS is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Part-Time Clerk to join our team in Garnett, KS. Hours of the store are M-Th 9am-9pm, Fri-Sat 9am-10pm, and Sun 12pm-8pm. Must be available all hours of operation working up to 29 hours/week. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and performing various store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases.
• Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and process payments.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including shelves, displays, and checkout areas.
• Monitor inventory levels, restock items as needed, and assist with inventory management.
• Assist in the implementation of store promotions and sales.
• Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, and legal regulations regarding the sale of alcohol.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
• Ability to work every weekend
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic math skills and experience handling cash.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Manual dexterity to operate the cash register and handle merchandise.
