SUMMARYThe C-Store Associate is responsible for customer service, sales, inventory, and maintenance of the C-Store. The position is also responsible for providing excellent service to members and patrons, working as a team, accurate transactions, and following safety policies and procedures.

(Includes the following and other duties may be assigned.)
Responsible for:
- Responsible for promoting and selling products and services.
- Accurately balances the cash drawer, daily sales, and inventory.
- Responsible for ensuring that interior and exterior of fuel facility are neat, clean, and in good condition, and report to the C-Store Manager any issues that may need resolution.
- Works cooperatively with other locations to help ensure company goals are met.
- Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations, responding promptly to customer needs, resolving questions, complaints, and concernsimmediatelyand meeting commitments.
- Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management.
- Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
- Understands andcomplieswithapplicable state and federal regulations.
- Ability to work schedules that vary with prompt and regular attendance.
- Follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
- Assist other office departments as needed.
- Operating Microsoft Word,Exceland Outlookas needed.
- Daily housekeeping of work area.
- Reportingtothe manager onanycost-saving opportunities.
- Securing facilities and equipment when closing.
- Promoting and adhering to the company Core Values of honesty,integrity& teamwork.
- Adherence to safety policies.
- Adherence to cooperative credit policy.
- Works with other cooperative staff at other locations to ensure cooperative goals are met.
- Presenting a clean and professional appearance.
- Promptly and regularly report to work and work overtime hours as needed.
- Employee is required to perform all other duties as directed.
No supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires proficient computer operation skills. Willing to seek out and attend additional continuing education, seminars, classes or other job-related education requirements or opportunities.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees of the cooperative.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures…
