Incobrasa is a soybean processing and biodiesel manufacturing company in Central Illinois with roots in the industry going back over 50 years. With a long company history focused on agriculture, our business efforts expanded from Brazil to the United States in 1982. We process soybeans. Year-round, all day, every day. Our process and systems are cutting edge, consisting of our shipping & receiving facilities, high-volume grain dryer, 8 concrete 190,000 bushel silos and multiple facilities including soybean preparation, oil extraction, refinery, food-grade oil packaging and biodiesel production.
We have a long-standing relationship with our suppliers of soybeans. Our soybeans are sourced from a number of local elevators and suppliers in Illinois and surrounding states.

- Animal Feed. Animal feed made from soybeans is the most important protein source used to feed farm animals. As a soybean processor, large quantities of soybean meal and soybean hull pellets are produced as a by-product of oil extraction.
- Vegetable Oil. Incobrasa operates a state-of-the-art packaging and labeling facility that features various production lines of bottled and canned vegetable oil.
- Biodiesel. Incobrasa is a member of the National Biodiesel Board. We are BQ-9000 and RFS certified, with an annual production capacity of 44 million gallons. Biodiesel is a renewable biofuel that is clean-burning and offers a replacement or supplement to regular diesel fuel.

- We receive, store, and transport Soybeans and Corn. Our corn capacity is 1,200,000 bushels, and our soybean capacity is 1,400,000.
The Scale House Attendant plays a critical role in the agricultural supply chain by accurately weighing and recording incoming and outgoing materials such as corn and soybeans. This position ensures that all weight measurements are precise and documented in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, which directly impacts inventory management and billing processes. The attendant serves as the primary point of contact for drivers and suppliers, facilitating smooth and efficient transactions while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Additionally, the role involves operating and maintaining scale equipment, troubleshooting minor technical issues, and coordinating with other departments to support operational flow.
This position is classified as seasonal employment. The duration of employment is limited and will be based on the company's operational needs. Seasonal employment does not guarantee continued employment beyond the designated seasonal period.
- Basic math skills sufficient to perform weight calculations and data entry accurately.
- Ability to operate weighing scale equipment and related computer systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information.
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with drivers and team members.
- Previous experience working in a scale house.
- Familiarity with electronic weighing systems and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards relevant to agricultural.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on scale equipment.
- Operate and monitor weigh scales to measure the weight of incoming and outgoing agricultural products accurately.
- Record and verify weight data, ensuring all entries are complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with truck drivers, suppliers, and internal teams to coordinate the timely processing of loads.
- Maintain scale house equipment, perform routine inspections, and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
