What matters most

To excel as a Maintenance & Electrical Technician at Schwartz Farms, Inc., you'll need a diverse skill set that includes: a strong foundation in general mechanical skills such as carpentry, welding, electrical work, plumbing, and concrete experience. Your ability to lead, communicate effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be key to success. Previous experience in plumbing, painting, machine servicing, electrical work, or vehicle maintenance is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

A clean driving record, familiarity with electrical circuits and wiring, knowledge of local electrical codes, and the ability to operate hand and power tools are essential.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Working knowledge of general mechanical skills including:
    • general carpentry
    • welding
    • electrical
    • plumbing & concrete experience
  • Strong leadership, communication and multi-tasking skills
  • Previous plumbing, painting, machine servicing, electrical and/or vehicle servicing experience preferred or a combination thereof
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office: i.e. calendar, email, word & excel.
  • Must have and maintain a clean driving record
  • Journeyman electrician license encouraged, but not required
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits and wiring and operating principles of motors
  • Knowledge of local electrical codes
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
