JBT Marel is looking for a skilled electrician to join our team in Sabetha, KS.
*
* The Role:

** In this position, you’ll install, maintain, and repair wiring and electrical systems for control equipment. We’re looking for someone who brings strong communication skills and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly, hazardous and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes.
* Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical conduit.
* Builds and installs control and control equipment such as switches, relays.
* Connects power cables to equipment.
* Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
* Operate lift truck with certification.
* Other duties assigned due to the need of the business.

Skills and Abilities

* Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
* Ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines
* Computer and ERP system familiarity
* Organized, proactive, and detail oriented
* Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
* Must be able to pass a physical capacity profile and drug screen
** Physical/Environmental Requirements
*** Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise and moving machinery
* May involve domestic and international travel
* Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs occasionally

Education, Knowledge, and Experience
* Technical degree- preferred.
